1. AGREEMENT TO TERMS

By using sacredwomaninstitute.com (the "Site"), booking a session, or purchasing any product, service, or program from Sacred Woman Institute LLC ("SWI," "we," "us"), you agree to these Terms of Service, our Disclaimer, and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or our services.

2. WHO WE ARE

Sacred Woman Institute LLC is a Connecticut limited liability company owned and operated by Emyluz Delmar Riva, offering wellness coaching, energy healing, movement instruction, breathwork, and related education and products, in person, remotely, and digitally.

3. ELIGIBILITY

Our Site, services, and products are intended for adults 18 and older. By using them, you represent that you meet this requirement.

4. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All content on this Site and in our programs, sessions, and materials — including text, curricula, recordings, images, and the Sacred Woman Institute name and brand — is our property and protected by copyright and trademark law. You may not copy, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from it without our prior written permission. If you submit content to us (such as a testimonial), you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use it for marketing, unless you request otherwise in writing. This license does not extend to group program session recordings, which are governed exclusively by the Group Program Agreement.

5. PURCHASES AND PAYMENT

Prices for products, sessions, and programs are as stated at the time of purchase. Digital and physical product sales are final unless stated otherwise. Group programs and private coaching are governed by their own agreements, accepted at enrollment or booking, which set out applicable payment, refund, and cancellation terms.

6. TESTIMONIALS AND RESULTS

Testimonials reflect individual experiences and are not typical or guaranteed results. Nothing on the Site or in our marketing is a promise of any particular outcome.

7. NO WARRANTY

THE SITE AND OUR SERVICES AND PRODUCTS ARE PROVIDED "AS IS," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SWI SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SITE OR OUR SERVICES OR PRODUCTS. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO ANY INDIVIDUAL SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID TO US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM. THIS SECTION DOES NOT LIMIT LIABILITY FOR GROSS NEGLIGENCE, WILLFUL MISCONDUCT, OR ANY LIABILITY THAT CANNOT BE LIMITED BY LAW.

9. INDEMNIFICATION

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SWI, Emyluz Delmar Riva, and their affiliates from any claim arising from your breach of these Terms, your violation of law, or your own acts or omissions in connection with our services or products.

10. THIRD-PARTY LINKS AND SERVICES

The Site may link to third-party sites and platforms (including payment, scheduling, and video conferencing providers). We are not responsible for their content, policies, or practices.

11. DISPUTE RESOLUTION AND GOVERNING LAW

The parties will first attempt to resolve any dispute informally by contacting emyluz@sacredwomaninstitute.com. If unresolved within thirty (30) days, the dispute will be settled by final and binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, with one arbitrator, in Fairfield County, Connecticut. YOU AND SWI EACH WAIVE THE RIGHT TO A CLASS ACTION OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING.

These Terms are governed by Connecticut law. Any action not subject to arbitration shall be brought exclusively in the courts of Fairfield County, Connecticut.

12. SERVICE-SPECIFIC AGREEMENTS

Group programs and private one-to-one services are additionally governed by the Group Program Agreement or the Private Client Agreement, as applicable, accepted at enrollment or booking. Where a service-specific agreement conflicts with these Terms or the Disclaimer as to that service, the service-specific agreement controls as to that service.

13. GENERAL

If any provision of these Terms is unenforceable, the rest remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. You may not assign these Terms. We may update these Terms at any time; continued use after an update constitutes acceptance.
